Soft glass/Soda glass

Soft glass is also known as soda glass or cheap glass .
Soft glass is the mixture of of sodiuam and calcium silicate.
Chemical formula :- Na₂O.CaO.6SiO₂

Soda glass or soft or cheap glass is formed when sodiuam carbonate, calcium carbonate and silica oxide is heated at appropriate temperature.

Na₂Co₃ + CaCo₃ + SiO₂ ---------> Soda glass
